LVTC7 was the command version of the LVTP7. The vehicle commander was normally stationed between the driver and assistant driver, but also manned the .50cal MG weapon station when necessary. A five seat module for the radio operators, folding desk, and mapboard were installed in the passenger compartment, and a forest of antennas emerged from the vehicle's roof. Later LVTC7s had the weapon station replaced by a vision cupola for the unit commander.
