CTL-3.

The little CTL-3 is seen here disembarking from a Navy tank lighter during exercises in 1939. One machine gun has been fitted, and the other two ball mounts are visible on the front of the tank. The band-type tracks and leaf spring suspension are visible in the surf, and the front and side vision ports can be seen. The CTL-3 proved unreliable and inadequately armored, and was superseded by Army light tanks. (Picture from the National Museum of the Marine Corps.)
