Command Vehicle M1130 Stryker at Fort Irwin, California.

These vehicles closely resemble the Stryker ICV, but the extra antennas and communications equipment mark them instead as Stryker CVs. These men are from 3rd Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, and are undergoing training for Decisive Action Rotation 15-03. A blank adapter is fitted to the machine gun on the near vehicle, and MILES sensors can be seen attached to its bow and hull side. This side view also demonstrates the large number of antennas emerging from the vehicle's roof. This machine belonged to 1-14th Cavalry, 3-2 Stryker Brigade Combat Team. Like the vehicles in the above image, this Stryker has a blank firing adapter on its .50cal MG and MILES sensors draped along its hull above the wheels. Note the pioneer tool stowage on the hull side above the rear wheel. (Picture taken 24 Aug 2011 by SPC Hanson Mendiola; available from Defense Video & Imagery Distribution System.)
